Welcome to the Downriver Lacrosse Association Registration Program!

This system will help you register your boy or girl lacrosse player for any available program offerings.  If you have questions about any program or the registration system, please contact .

We are very aware of the busy schedules families have and will remain understanding that players may not always be able to put lacrosse first.  We welcome players that are fully dedicated and those that use lacrosse to complement activities they may also be involved in.

We encourage players to use their own equipment, but we also have equipment packages that can be rented while supplies last.  Boys Equipment rental costs $40 + an $80 deposit.  Girls Equipment costs $20 + a $40 deposit. Equipment Rental is refunded when equipment is returned at the end of the spring season. 2022 August 20 - 21 Lacrosse Camp

Time:                     9 AM to Noon

Day:                       Saturday and Sunday, August 20th – 21st

Location:               Patrick Henry Middle School in Woodhaven

Fee:                        $65 per Player

                                   

WHO:

All 3rd - 8th grade Boys & Girls of all skill levels who would like to experience the exhilarating game of Lacrosse.  Participant must be in 3rd - 8th grade during the 2022-2023 School Year.

WHAT:

Sessions will be station based, with players divided into groups based on age, experience, and capability.  Stations will be led by experienced coaches with assistance from college and high school players.  Coaches will provide appropriate introduction of lacrosse fundamentals to new players and will work separately with experienced players to help them progress their skills and knowledge of the game.

EQUIPMENT: 

Sticks will be provided to those that need them. Protective equipment is encouraged on day 2, if/when participating in drills with contact. Equipment rental packages are available - contact iwanttoplay@DownriverLax.org.

3rd - 8th Grade 2022 Fall Lacrosse

WHEN:       Monday and Wednesday 9/19 - 10/26

WHERE:     Civic Center Park in Woodhaven (behind the pickleball courts)

COST:        $45 per Player + $30 annual US Lacrosse membership

                                 

WHO: All 3rd - 8th grade Boys & Girls of all skill levels who would like to experience this exhilarating game.

 

WHAT: Lacrosse is primarily a spring and summer sport, but players and programs that have a passion for the game, find a way to play lacrosse as much as they can.  Our goal this Fall will be to work on skill development 50% of the time and have fun with scrimmages the other 50% of the time.  We will meet Monday and Wednesday evenings for about an hour.

 

EQUIPMENT: Sticks will be provided to those that need them.  Protective equipment is encouraged for experienced players and will be required when participating in situations where contact is likely.  Equipment rental is available - email for more information.
